Albino Llama: Llamas are awesome! (75)
My Bio
Uh lesee...I'm a fifty something fan of comic books and science fiction and fast cars. I love to draw, read, and am learning Photoshop so I'm trying to become proficient at scanning my drawings and adding color digitally. Still finding my way around Deviant Art so if I don't respond to a comment or message, please don't take it personally (btw, what's with the llama thing?)

Oh boy, I'm a SUPER Llama! Or something like that. :-) I've just cleaned out over 1,300 messages in my deviant stacks. Everything has either been removed of Faved. So I have lots of artwork in my favorites folders now. It's amazing how much excellent art there is in comic books these days. Life in the digital age is pretty peachy. :-)

Just a note to vote Yes on the new Deviations stacks format. At first, it was disconcerting, but having seen it for the second time, I like the layout. Kudos to the mods who made it happen.

I've been learning more about using the pen tool in Photoshop to select and isolate areas in digital rendering. It's a great time saving device. But it has some maddening quirks that I'd like to figure out. Photoshop help says very little about the pen tool and paths, so any assistance the DA community can provide would be greatly appreciated. Stroking a path: inconsistency. Sometimes when I stroke a path to outline an area, I get a stroke that's much too large. I back the brush size down one pixel and it's way too thin. It seems like there's a threshold beyond which it goes from barely visible to BAM! Is there any way to finesse this? Sele
